Technical diving can be seriously labour-intensive, and the thought of dragging four cylinders around underwater can be offputting to say the least, but if you are heading off into the depths on open-circuit trimix, there is no way to get around it – you are going to need plenty of gas to get you down to your chosen depth, and safely back up again.
