Beaver Mini OrcaBeaver Mini Orca (SRP: £35)

Pat: Not as good as some of them for me, the silicone seemed harder than some but it’s easy to clear and the view from it was not bad.
Louise: I can see a lot of frame with this although you do get good all-round vision with this one, it moulds to your face well.
Lynsey: This is very comfortable and is a dream to clear for such a small mask. The vision is very good.

Beaver Mini AtomicBeaver Mini Atomic (SRP: £46)

Pat: This felt a bit small for me, the nose was very small, I think this is more for children.
Louise: This was very small for me, but that did make it easy to clear.
Lynsey: This is for a smaller face than mine and as such did not give the best vision, it would be a nice mask for someone, just not me.

Mares X VisionMares X Vision Medium (SRP: £37.95) CHOICE

Pat: An excellent mask – comfortable, good vision, easy to clear, soft silicone and great clips on the strap.
Lynsey: Very comfortable, really fitted me really well, great vis massive field of view and easy to clear – my favourite.
Louise: The clips on this are really easy to use, it’s comfortable to wear and it’s got good vision. I’d buy this mask.

Scubapro Cool VuScubapro Cool Vu (SRP: £29.95)

Pat: It’s a little bit to narrow for me, I prefer a bit more lens for my money and the clear sides don’t do a lot for me. It has got nice soft silicone, though, which meant it sealed well against my face and was easy to clear.
Louise: The nose was a bit small for me and I didn’t like the effect the clear sides caused, although being quite a low-volume mask it was easy to clear.
Lynsey: I could feel the frame on the top of my nose and I didn’t like the kaleidoscope effect the side panels caused – it’s not the one for me.

Scubapro Frameless 2Scubapro Frameless 2 (SRP: £39.95)

Pat: Very nice vision with this one, it came down a bit too low in the face for me, which made it harder to clear, but this would be a really nice mask for someone with a bigger face than me.
Louise: It lives up to its name – you can’t see the frame unlike some of them in the test. It was a bit big for me, but a nice mask none the less.
Lynsey: It’s got nice soft silicone and gives good vis – this is quite a comfortable mask.

Scubapro FinoScubapro Fino (SRP: £32.95)

Pat: Very good vision with this one, although I could see the frame in my vision and it was tricky to clear the last bit of water from it. Sealed well on my face.
Lynsey: Not as easy to clear as some of them, but still not a hard job – good vis with this mask and it fits well.
Louise: I thought the frame was a bit bulky, but it really sticks to your face and is not going to let water in in a hurry.

Seac Sub ItalicaSeac Sub Italica (SRP: £45)

Pat: This is a nice mask – fantastic vision, soft silicone, a good fit and easy to clear. What more could you ask for?
Louise:
Quite a low volume mask for a mask this size, great vis from this one and easy to clear.
Lynsey: This one is my favourite, it fits really well and was easy to adjust. It’s got good vision and is really easy to clear.

Seac Sub CocopaSeac Sub Cocopa (SRP: £19.95)

Pat: For a small mask that is really aimed at children, it’s quite comfy, the side clips to adjust the strap make it really easy to use, if was a little bit bigger this would have been a good mask. A bargain price though.
Louise: If this was a little larger I could have really liked this one, it’s easy to clear and the strap adjuster is clever.
Lynsey: Just ½ a centimetre bigger and this would have been excellent, a great mask for kids or for snorkelling, though.

Tigullio DevilTigullio Devil (SRP: £35) BEST BUY

Pat: This is very comfy, good vision, soft silicone, I hardly knew it was there. This is a really nice mask.
Louise: I could see a bit of the frame but the silicone is soft which made for a nice fit and it’s easy to clear. This is a good mask.
Lynsey: This is a really comfortable mask, one of the best. It’s easy to clear and has excellent vision.

Tigullio SpyTigullio Spy (SRP: £35.95)

Pat: This has got quite narrow vision and I can see a lot of frame especially when you look down. It sealed nicely against your face, though.
Louise: The frame seems to come in at you and makes this a bit claustrophobic and it was quite hard to clear.
Lynsey: Too much frame in view for me, a colour other than black might have helped and it was hard to clear.

Tusa SereneTusa Serene (SRP: £47)

Pat: This is great mask – soft silicone, a huge field of view and really comfortable, it’s easy to clear as well. This is the mask for me.
Louise: It’s a little bit narrow for me, but it’s still quite comfy and you can see everything because the lens is so big.
Lynsey: I could feel the frame above my nose with this one but you get good vision and it’s easy to clear, I like the way that the strap/frame joint clicks into position so that it fits well.
