First up, and an animal which can be found at almost every dive site in the Red Sea, is the giant moray (Gymnothorax javanicus). Easily identified, often by its size of up to three metres in length, the giant moray is a yellow-brown colour covered in small black spots and with a dark patch at its gill opening.
