The conditions in Belize offer a perfect environment for taking macro photographs. With the lack of currents and constant warm waters, it is relatively simple to set up great shots that cannot be taken in many other dive destinations. Like many divers, I used to spend most of my time looking off in the distance for turtles, sharks, rays and any other larger creatures that happened to be passing by.
